In 2018, we saw a growing shift toward online work, commerce, and digital transactions. People could connect with customers, clients, businesses, and partners anywhere in the world—but the transaction itself still depended heavily on trust.
Buyers worried about sending money first. Sellers worried about delivering without getting paid. Businesses needed safer ways to manage complex transactions. And platforms needed better infrastructure for transactions between multiple parties.
We saw an opportunity to build something different: a modern trust layer for the internet economy.

Meet our founders
Pandascrow began in Port Harcourt, where co-founders Tom and Isaac grew up as childhood friends. As they went on to build careers in Agrotech and digital services, they encountered a problem that kept showing up across African commerce: trust.
Too many transactions depended on personal relationships, making it harder for businesses and individuals without established networks to access opportunities and transact with confidence.
They built Pandascrow to change that — a trust layer for digital commerce that gives businesses, freelancers, marketplaces, and their customers a safer way to transact and participate in the global economy.
